Three sisters
  • Are rocky peaks;
  • Are a part of a chain of Blue mountains of New South Wales in Australia;
  • Are named Michni (922 meters), Vimla (918 meters), Gunnedou (906 meters);
  • They rise above the Jamison Valley, located half a kilometer from the city of Katoomba;
  • Rocks, consisting of soft sandstone, acquired their present form due to centuries of erosion;
  • The Giant Stairs, consisting of more than 800 steps, leads to the Sisters;
  • Everyone can make a photo from one of the observation decks: Queen Elizabeth Lookout or Eagle Hawk Lookout;
  • There are many legends about them;
  • Tourists can reach the Three Sisters on a special excursion trail starting at Echo Point;
  • Those travelers who are ready to go even further can easily reach the stunning Katoomba waterfalls.
